Ive been reading current depth charts some of you have posted. Most say Lee is 3rd string off the bench at the 1 and 2. I understand he hasnt played an NBA game yet, but something tells me by mid-season (or maybe earlier), Courtney will become our six man. In my opinion Lee will stay within the top 10 power rankings for rookies next year, going as low as a 5 or 6. I think he will be very similar to a Monte Ellis!

I like you and many, am optimistic for the future of this player. 6th man, 3rd string, regardless I think he'll bring us some quality off the bench.

i think courtney should start as a 3rd string behind JJ and also try to work Lee in PG. make him like Dooling was with us last years as a pg and sg. I think Stan will choose Lee over JJ in the long run. Alot of analysts are saying Lee will be a great player

I have a feeling that Lee will be the second coming of Brandon Roy. Nothing spectacular or special on his game at the moment, but very mature and has high Basketball IQ to make up for it. A poor man's Brandon Roy at the least.

Monta Ellis? I think theres a big case of overrating right now.

I haven't seen Lee play but to say that he is a future all-star is kinda.. eh..

Ellis is going to struggle to ever become an allstar, because he's a guard in a conference stacked at the guard positions.

All I know is I'm pretty positive he will be better in the lineup than Mogans, and that's all I want.

While I do agree it is true, I don't see him having that much of a problem if he is playing for an EC team. So, talent-wise he is an all star caliber.

But to say Courtney Lee will be similar to Monta is eh. He may have the potential to become like Monta but the chances of that happening is really low, IMO. I think Courtney is a role player at best. The draft has been full of what ifs now.

Teams were once skeptic of the way Dirk plays, now they pick outside shooting 7 footers early in high hopes that they become similar to Dirk. I don't see any difference for teams not to look for the next Monta.
