They are both free agents and won't be on our roster unless we give them new contracts. They are only listed for determining salary cap room. As they are both on vet min contracts, there isn't any point of giving up their re-signing rights, because the "empty" roster spaces are counted as vet min contracts anyway. We would not have salary cap room either way, so we would only have the MLE available either way.
Does anyone know if we have the bi-annual small exemption this year?
