Curious why Bosh is wearing #12 when that is not even his number in the NBA, I believe he is #4 for the Raptors. Bosh is Dwight's friend so it leads me to believe it is something out of the players control??? Does anyone know???

From what I have heard. Amare had the number and he had dibs because he had been in the league longer. When he was dismissed or left the team or whatever. Bosh wanted it and because he has tenure, he got it.

I really dont think Dwight really cared about it that much.

Yeah, I saw that on an interview with Dwight, it's just seniority.

It's a number, it doesn't really matter.

Kobe is wearing 10, Lebron is wearing 6, CP3 is wearing 13.

The list keeps going. Nobody has their NBA number in international play.

For what it's worth, Bosh wore 11 two years ago, and Dwight actually wore 12 that same year. Guess they just switched.

In FIBA international teams the numbers in the jerseys go from 4 to 15 in ALL teams; just watch the other countries' jerseys and you'll see.
