We may be looking at starting Gortat at the 4.

We can't have a quality backup at every position. Besides, you can get a serviceable big for the vet min easily. Dwight plays **** near the whole game anyway.

Exactly. Gortat's potential isn't easily replaceable...but his role on this team is.

This would allow Otis to acquire a quality power forward and keep the midlevel exception to divide among two other players if he chooses. This is good news.

If Bass is as good as I think he can be as a starter next to Dwight, then I think we could have a good lineup.

And you guys are right, a good C can be found for the vet min.

Exactly tell that to MagicfanBen who has been going on for an hour how Gortat will be the starter next year at PF. I knew he would be involved in a S&T and who cares who Dwights backup is we can get someone cheap who will be fine
