Brandon Bass and his camp continue to say that they'll look for a trade this summer if Brandon's minutes don't increase. Sources say that Bass wants the situation in Orlando to work out and will give things time before making a decision.

But at the same time, his camp says that they were told before the season that the Magic would be going away from their three point shooting style in 2010 and would have a place for Brandon. As the halfway point approaches, that clearly hasn't been the case.
A deal is unlikely before the deadline as both sides want to give the relationship more time to develop before going in different directions.
when you get you next lot of playing time just bring beast mode and force stan to play you.
you are sitting where you are for a reason you need to work harder and tell your agent to stfu you could have a ring for doing sweet f a and thats one more ring than john stockton and some other great plyers ever got.

There's a chance SVG will turn to Bass out of desperation in the playoffs as he has with Gortat & Pietrus the past two years.

My heart tells me that Bass has some part to play, for good or ill, before this is over.

yea i kind get that feeling too
i am also wondering if stan is not showing his hand either as this league is heavly scouted is he making all his changes behind closed doors and going to unvail them in the last weeks ready for playoffs. we have been struggling after a couple days off just training that could be the answer.

I have a feeling Bass will be used heavily against cLEAVEland and Boston come playoff time. Then again, if that was the case he should be used against them now.
Secret weapon...?
He had a name
His name was Wince Harder

Yes he should be working hard to play...but who wants a ring without contributing to the team getting thus ring?
Personally I dont want the ring as someone who racks up CDNP...let me earn it like everybody else

So did Gollum in Lord of the Rings!
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to catch that.

I've been thinking the same too.
I think of the game where Gortat finally got the call to come in vs Detroit two years ago. Stepped up, contributed and the rest is history.
even JJ last year, getting his first big game consecutive starts against Boston.

Honestly, I really thought we would shy away from the 3-point system especially when Rashard was suspended for 10 games. But I think the fact that Ryan was able to step up and provide good 3 point shooting, SVG didn't want to disrupt the flow of schemes.
