For the record… The New Orleans' Hornets are not open to trading Chris Paul under any scenario. In fact Hornets' sources said that even if offered Kobe Bryant or LeBron James, they have to think long and hard about the move.

I could understand why they'd pass on Kobe. LeBron? Yeah right.

That being said, I have sources that say there is a realistic chance of getting Joe Johnson this summer. Yes, a bit of a fall off from CP3 to JJ (he's gonna need a new nickname if we do get him), but still nice.

I CHANGED IT TO BUST.

Anyways, since we all figured we weren't getting him anyways, how about we talk about something else, such as:

We boo the Magic every time they have the ball on the offensive end, and that ball is not touching Howard's hand. Once they pass it to him, we cheer and yell HOWWWWWWWAAAARRRRRDDDDDD every time he has the ball/and at the FT line.

Alright, so it's settled. Pass it around, ladies. The team will get the message.

Yeah, but they haven't been offered Gortat, Bass, and Anthony Johnson yet.

You can't really prepare mentally for an offer like that.

Any details into how we pull this off?

LeBron would bolt at the end of the year.

We all knew it wasn't happening. The Hornets have no reason to deal CP3, I know they have salary issues....but why would they blow up their franchise and trade away one of the best young players in the game? Okafor and Peja need to be dumped before CP3. They also should look into baiting West out there if they are desperate to save money.

I've heard Joe Johnson brought up, but I'm confused to how that would work. I mean, if Joe REALLY wanted to play here he could ask the Hawks to S&T him, but they could call him out and say no and see if he would take a paycut with us.

Idk, I think Carlos Boozer may be the most realistic option. He and Dwight are good friends and he may not get the huge payday with Bosh and Amare out there, so he may take a little paycut to come here.

This is truly groundbreaking news. And here I thought Hoopsworld was cesspool of uselessness.

I'm truly stunned that the Hornets don't want to dump the best point guard of this generation for expiring contracts and a servicable big man.
