A lot of talk is all about who we can sign in the offseason. I, for one, am considered a ledge-hopper if we can't fill out the roster with great players (call me crazy).
That said, it's been thrown around that if Dwight can develop a low-post offensive game, not just a face-up jumper, that we could be the favorite coming out of the East... remember, we NOW have the undisputed best big-man in the game with Yao out for the season, most likely.
What'd ya think?

Even as a ledge-hopper, I think, and have always believed, that if Dwight can get an all-around offensive game, as everyone else has said, then we would be close to unstoppable.

NOT if Cavs gets Artest and if celtics really close to finalise the deal to get Rasheed as it seems.
Otis then would be my first choice for the razzies next...

We NEED you to dominate more than ever Dwight!
Its a verbal commitment to sign an offer sheet. If we want him, we keep him. Simple as that.
But, in a way, can't we look at the emotional impact of this situation?
Gortat wants to be a starter.
With our lineup the way it is, do you seem him starting alongside Dwight?
I don't know if I want a disenfranchised player, who thinks he's worth more than he is, on my roster. If his heart is not in it, then can we rely on him?

This question is, now more than ever, very important... and Dwight Howard is the fulcrum of our entire being as a team... Can he carry us, even with a lack of quality depth?
I understand there are still good vets out there, and Bass is still floating around, and we might be able to still resign Gortat (unless I'm missing something in the last few days).
But still... As goes Dwight, so goes the Magic. Amirite?

if Dwight is having a bad night, I think Vince can carry us through the game. And vise versa. If both are dominating in the same night, I think we wuld be unstoppable.
D12 has proven to carry his talented team to the Finals last year.
Vince has proven to carry his team Single handedly to a jumpshot away from the ECF, while he was the only player on the team. N then carried his team to the playoffs while J Kidd was traded.
Either way if both are failing. We still have Jameer and Rashard to lead the team.
N if all 4 stars fail, we still have Tyronn Lue who has won more championships than anyone on the team...
