No, more like raising a good point. i've seen numerous rick rolls here and nothing happened because they were posted by 'regs' i've seen topics posted in the basketball section that were way off topic, but nothing happens because there are 'regs'. it's lame.
Buddy, complaining about it here in the message board itself doesn't help your cause in any way. It's better to take it up with the mods. I looked at your thread, and it seems it was closed not because of what you said there but the link that you appended. I'm not sure what link it was, so I can't definitely say if it contains a virus or if you do have to reboot your computer to get rid of it.
To be fair, there's currently a thread that's made by a non "reg" which has absolutely nothing to do about the Magic but is still somehow neither locked or moved.
Do not click on the link. It contains some type of virus. After rebooting my Mac several times, Safari still will not open.

Sorry, but one thing is putting up a fake link where we all can go funny ha ha...but doing something that would harm another user's computer is not acceptable. No if or buts...Its simple, will not be allowed and will be removed.
This forum doesn't have to be a monastery. We want to have fun while getting great Magic information. Goofing around is not only good, but certainly expected. I know I expect to find some comedic content. But nothing harmful.
Another thing....

Terms of Service Reposting a deleted post, complaining about it in the thread, spamming the queue about it, or belaboring the point will result in action being taken. Posting or submitting links on behalf of someone else that was banned will in turn earn you a ban as well. Posts, links or threads that were removed by moderators were done so for a reason and no justification is required. It goes without saying that extreme violations of the Message Board posting rules will result in a permanent posting ban. We typically operate on the 'three strikes and you're out' rule of thumb. (Note: how long ago you received your last warning is irrelevant but the nature of the warning is what is important). However some actions that could potentially result in immediate banning (i.e. harrassing comments or personal attacks against anyone, excessive language i.e. use of the 'F' word, pornography, excessive violation of copyright, trolling, etc...)
that is all.
