Lakers seem to be on the verge of signing Artest, Ariza is going to Houston, or Detroit, Odom seems to be looking for a new adress, who better to replace turk. Odom is similar to turks game, better rebounder, and defender. If we could S/T for Bass, we could offer Odom the full MLE.

Odom is going to command a contract way above the midlevel exception. That's probably the reason the lakers weren't willing to give Ariza a bigger deal.

Really, I think this is a Lakers smoke screen, to make Odom look like the heavy for taking all the $$ that Kobe...allowed them to work with!! Odpm will be back with LA, and I sure hope Trevor says...gimme central florida!!!
