Lakers Won't Pay Ariza: Word is the L.A. Lakers will not go higher than the median exception for Trevor Ariza and that has not sat well with Ariza who will start entertaining other offers. Ariza is said to be the fall back option for the Trail Blazers, but the Cavaliers and Magic have expressed interest in Trevor. The word is if the Lakers do not increase their offer Trevor will go elsewhere for the median money rather than stay in L.A. which flies in the face of Trevor and his agents' recent comments about bleeding "purple and gold".

Trevor back in Orlando would make this a successful offseason. Even if we don't get Gortat or Turk. Seriously, that would be the best starting lineup in the NBA.
Originally posted by Adam_Magic: Not sure how legit this is but the Blazers can have Turk if this means we have a shot at getting Ariza back; Starting line-up of;

NBA Champs baby!
Im all for this lineup. Now all we have to do is resign Gortat and we have to be favorites for the Eastern Conference finals.
Stan Van Gundy should tell Dwight,"I'll be more positive in exchange that you stop getting dumb fouls and make some **** free throws".

Willing to take same $ elsewhere after getting less than expected???
This would be a dream offseason if this happened...like we never traded him to begin with (minus losing to LA in the finals) & were simply making the natural progression from Hedo to Ariza. Orlando would be nasty on the wings w/Ariza, VC, & Pietrus.

Otis should tell him not only will he start but he will get $5-6mill per season and his old #1 jersey back. Bring him home Otis. If you pull this off i will act like that trade never happen.
